Private Schools
The Alexander Dawson School at Las Vegas - The Garden Village- Non-sectarian, co-education school, offering a rigorous liberal arts program. With the opening of the Early Childhood Education Center in Fall 2004, Alexander Dawson now serves four year olds through the 8th grade. Faith Lutheran Academy (located in Faith Lutheran Church)- The Willows Village- Offers Kindergarten to 1st grade, and will ultimately offer Kindergarten through 5th grade. Campus features classrooms, a worship center, a kitchen and a gymnasium complex with locker and shower rooms. For information, call (702) 921- 2777.
Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr. High School- Summerlin Centre-Parochial school with an emphasis on Christian education for 6th through 12th grade. Accredited by the Northwest Association of School and Colleges. Offers two educational tracks: college preparatory and general education. Campus features a classroom/administration building, resource center, football field, baseball field, four outdoor basketball courts, and a gymnasium complex with weight and wrestling rooms. Lit’l Scholar Academy- The Hills South Village- Private Kindergarten, licensed to provide preschool, childcare and after-school care for older students. Largest child care facility west of the Mississippi River. For information, call (702) 256-5300.
The Meadows School- The Pueblo Village- Non-sectarian college preparatory school for preschool through the 12th grade. Accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. Campus features separated facilities for students in the lower, middle and upper schools, a field house, a baseball field, eight tennis courts, football field/track and several playing fields. The Milton I. Schwartz Hebrew Academy- The Trails Village- Non-profit, non-parochail Jewish day that provides an advanced comprehensive program with an emphasis on Hebrew and Judaic studies for Kindergarten through 8th grade.
